1st-Feb-2010 05:13 pm - Been in hell the last two weeks.

I've spent most of the last 2 weeks in hell off and on. (No matter how much I beg [info]saranjeuhal he won't kill me.) I've had this reoccuring migraine that progressively gets worse. Yesterday, I took 600 mg of Advil, an hr later, no pain relief, so he gave me 3 vicodine. 45 min later, I had enough relief that I was able to lay down and breath through the pain. I basically had to stay in a dark quiet room most of the time. All light and sound made it worse.

Today, [info]saranjeuhal sweet talked the office ladies at my doc office to squeeze me in. Last week when I called he was booked solid until this coming Saturday. Doc gave me an injection of something - I really should have had him write down the name of the med - and gave me another med for me to take every 12 hrs for the next 3 days. My BP was 139/90.

Now, I'm not as sensitive to light, but I need to wear sunglasses in bright rooms. Here is hoping to the end of this migraine.
